Our Background
CWR was started in July of 2022 by RJ Morales and Ron McManus. Both RJ and Ron have extensive experience in the waste management industry, as well as demolition and heavy highway construction. Our mission is to provide customers with a higher level of service.
We take a lot of pride in our work and equipment. We employ local people and use local vendors to support our operations. For us, it’s all about keeping it local!
We have and use the same, if not better, equipment than the big corporate companies. What sets us apart from other companies is the pride we take in our people. Our employees are family to us, not just another number. We try to maintain a high-energy, high-paced atmosphere where our employees have a good time while also ensuring everyone’s safety.
We run most of our garbage collection operations overnight. Our owners have families and realize that having more big trucks in our neighborhoods during the day poses a risk to kids. Our goal is to have all of our routes picked up by the time school buses are on the roads. Our automated trucks are new to newer and are the best in the industry. It takes just 6 to 9 seconds for our arm trucks to collect home trash and recycling. The speed of these trucks allows us to move through a community as quickly and quietly as possible.
Our demolition division uses the best excavators and attachments to quickly tear down, separate, and dispose of your project. From residential home demolition to buildings and other large commercial structures, our team has you covered.

One significant aspect of our community involvement is our sponsorship of youth sports programs, including youth softball and soccer leagues. We believe in the next generation of leaders, and through these sponsorships, we provide our youth with opportunities to learn teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship.
Our commitment to community doesn’t stop there. At Carolina Waste & Recycling, we also have a neighborhood Santa Claus on staff. During the holiday season, our jolly Santa brings joy and smiles to children and families throughout the neighborhood. Whether it’s through surprise visits to local schools or neighborhood events, Santa spreads cheer and warmth to brighten the festive season for all. We are dedicated to being more than just a waste management company; we are a part of your community, working to create a better, more vibrant future for everyone.
